Regulations like COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) require employers to regularly test and maintain LEV systems every 14 Months. Regular testing helps identify issues early, preventing costly repairs and ensuring the system continues to function properly. 

During an LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) test, a thorough examination and testing of the LEV system is conducted to ensure it effectively captures and removes hazardous substances from the workplace air. The process also includes checking the condition of components like hoods, ducts, filters, and fans.
